Concept of Health
Inner harmony and the balance of yin and yang. That is the base principle of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) – since thousands of years. The principle is as simple as it is obvious: He who keeps his inner balance, is and will stay healthy.
Nino Imfeld, born and raised in Horw LU, knows and lives the principle of Chinese medicine like few other Swiss. The now 37-year-old spent twelve years of his life in China and learned to live like, love and understand that fascinating country and its people. Besides German and English, Imfeld is also fluent in Chinese.

From 2008 to 2013, Nino Imfeld studied traditional Chinese medicine at the Beijing University of TCM. After successfully graduating, he gathered invaluable practical experience in his profession. Between 2012 and 2013, he was an intern in the DongFang Hospital and the Dongzhimen Hospital of Acupuncture in Beijing. In those renowned TCM-Institutions, Imfeld expanded his medical knowledge, particularly in in acupuncture.
After several inspiring and educational years in the Middle Kingdom, Nino Imfeld returned to his homeland in 2013. The extensive schooling as well as his practical experience helped him to gain a foothold in Switzerland very quickly. After successfully working as TCM specialist for MediQi in Cham and Zug, Imfeld received the chance to take over the practise in early 2016 and continue his work under the name of Concept of Health.
The new practise orientates itself on the fundamentals of traditional Chinese medicine. Nino Imfeld helps his Patients in finding their balance and inner harmony – and thereby restore their health and wellbeing. To accomplish the goal of harmony and balance, Imfeld relies on various treatment methods of Chinese medicine.
Nino Imfeld places the needles for acupuncture with skilled precision and is just as proficient in special massage techniques and further methods to support the flow of Qi. We at Concept of Health believe: When yin and yang are in harmony, so is the Qi – and with that, the origin of all energy can flow harmonically and evenly. A principle that has worked in China for thousands of years is now also successfully lived in Zug. Find out for yourself.
